My daughter found this old pic I'd taken back in 2004. It's a cool picture because it's a cat on a merry-go-round with an eyepatch and rapier. Obviously a pirate cat. Arr!
Outside the El Paso Museum of Archeology there is a cool desert walk. Rei and Ian looked really awesome in this pic, I thought. That's an octotillo to the right of Ian. :)
I took the kids to the Chihuahua Desert Gardens at UTEP a couple of weekends ago. Rei and Ian loved the steps in an area outside of the gardens. They ran up and down the stairs and the ramps for about a half an hour. ;)
Rei loves to dance. I wanted to get a pic of her in her ballet outfit. As soon as she saw the camera, she got into this position. Very cute, huh. Ian is watching in the background. :)
I have an inquisitive mind. I want to understand and learn new things. It's what I do for fun, really. I'm married, have 2 kids, one with autism and I'm a freelance artist. Yay.
Currently, I have a cheap-o Fuji FinePix digital camera bought in 2002. I use this for most of my photos. I also occasionally use Fuji disposable cameras (I prefer Fuji film) and I do have an old, old, old Single Lens Reflex Yashica TL. This SLR camera needs serious cleaning: the shutter is sticky.
In the future, I'd love to get a SLR digital camera.
I also sometimes use Photoshop to manipulate, clean up and otherwise mess with my digital photos.
Unless stated otherwise, I probably used the Fuji FinePix and did minimal adjustments in Photoshop.
